Decades voyage is founded by me, Floor, in 2024. I am a 16-year old doll collector from the Netherlands. I started collecting antique bisque  dolls a little after my 15th birthday. I have always been obsessed with long gone times and this eventually brought me to the antique doll world.  My first doll was a reproduction of a Jumeau, but she has been given away some months ago mainly because of lack of space and because I can now afford the antique ones. I can appreciate all kind of antique bisque dolls (and also the wooden queen Anne type dolls), but I have a special love for Jules Steiner and Jumeau. (Also for Halopeau and Thuillier, but those don’t fit into my budget (yet)🙈). I also love the girl charakter dolls. Due to my love for all antique bisque dolls, my collection has quite exploded in the first year and barely fits in my 9 square meter bedroom anymore. Therefore my focus is now going to the closed mouth dolls and the charakter dolls for the next years. 

Antique dolls also brought a second hobby to me, sewing doll clothes! I am not very advanced yet, but sometimes there will be dolls on my website with dresses made by me. 

My passion for dolls has brought me to create this website. I created this website to be able to do more with my hobby as well to get some of my dolls to new loving homes. But most of all I want to share the beauty of my dolls with other collectors and hope that other young people will come across this site and eventually fall in love with the charm of antique dolls.
